What do you do? Member services, trip planning and travel medical insurance are what keep me busy day to day. Selling emergency roadside assistance memberships, answering questions related to CAA, giving maps and directions, helping plan a road trip, making sure our members have the coverage they need while traveling outside the province. CAA: is the number one auto club in the country serving over 5.2 million Members; is Canada’s largest leisure travel agency; provides Members with a range of insurance products including auto and home, life, and travel medical, and provides Members with a variety of discounts and savings at a wide range of local and international merchants and businesses.
When did you get started in the business? In June 2005 I started with CAA in Charlottetown, PEI and then moved to Moncton to continue with CAA in the fall of 2005.
How many years have you been in business? Although CAA has been around for 60 plus years I’ve been with the company for 4 years.
Why you do what you do? Ever since my parents owned a hotel/restaurant I’ve always loved to interact with people and help them when they are in need. CAA makes that possible for me everyday. From something as simple as giving out a map and directions or helping reserve a car rental or overnight accommodations, it’s gratifying all the same.
