What do you do? I am a freelance writer focusing on promotional copy writing. I work with direct clients, advertising and marketing agencies or team with graphic designers to promote businesses through words. I write sales materials for business, editorials, profiles, web copy, direct marketing, blogs and more. My sword is the keyboard and my shield is the computer screen!
When did you get started in the business?
I've had Writenow! Communications since 2001 in Yellowknife, NT, but have been back at it full-time since moving to Moncton in 2009.
How many years have you been in business?
I've been in the communications industry for more years than I care to say in every capacity from copywriter and production manager in agencies to public relations specialist and communications officer in government communications (with a stint at customer service in between).
Why do you do what you do?
Despite having worked in many different areas of communications, writing is my passion.
